As the Finance and Accounting Manager for Nabati in the Philippines, you will focus on the day-to-day financial aspects of a company’s finances to support the Company’s long-term planning, risk management, and financial objectives.
The Finance and Accounting Manager has a strong finance and accounting foundation, analytical skills, and a genuine passion for leading a team and collaborating with different functional groups to ensure smooth business operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and manages financial models for the Team in the Philippines to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Provides insights into key financial metrics and trends to support calculated decision-making and ensure business growth.
- Leads the budgeting process and ensures alignment with the Nabati Group’s business goals and objectives.
- Prepares accurate financial forecasts and track performance against approved budgets.
- Generates timely and accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations in the Philippines.
- Manages cash flow to optimize working capital and support business operational needs.
- Implements effective cash management strategies and forecasting to ensure the Company is in a healthy financial state.
- Identifies financial risks and implements strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitors and assesses the impact of economic and industry trends on the financial performance of the Company.
- Oversees day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensures accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing reports.
- Coordinates external audits and ensures compliance with Philippines regulatory requirements.
- Implements and maintains strong internal controls to safeguard the financial health of the Company.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams and departmental heads and provides financial insights to support decision-making.
- Advises senior management on financial strategy and opportunities for improvement.
- Leads the Finance and Accounting Team in the Philippines and ensures team members perform at the agreed level of performance.
