- Identifying vulnerabilities in our current network.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure our computing network.
- Monitoring network usage to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Keeping up to date with developments in IT security standards and threats.
- Performing penetration tests to find any flaws.
- Collaborating with management and the IT department to improve security.
- Documenting any security breaches and assessing their damage.
- Educating colleagues about security software and best practices for information security.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Information Technology. Computer Science. Computer Engineering or any relevant courses.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in one of the following - software development, and security testing. vulnerability assessment. familiar with TCP/IP and networking concepts
- Knowledge or background in software development.
- Be willing to demonstrate Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing methodologies.
- Have a basic understanding of local regulatory standards, international standards, and policies (e.x OWASP Top 10. NIST Cyber Security Framework).
- Knowledge in penetration testing against a wide variety of application layers, and platforms most preferably web, mobile application, network, basic reverse engineering, and automated tools.
- Candidates with personal projects and open-source contributions are a plus.
- A candidate with a bug bounty background is a plus.
- Candidates who play hack-the-box (HTB) are a plus.
- Amenable to work in Mckinley Hill, Taguig City.
